for percussion duo

Written for the Sō Percussion Summer Institute in 2023, Count the Silver found objects, largely kitchen items, as the instruments of choice. I decided to treat the duo as a deconstructed drumset, with the two percussionists playing music that would sound somewhat sparse on its own, but when played together creates intricate grooves that drive the piece forward.
