See the Circle - piano and MIDI keyboard

In this piece, I wanted to explore both microtonality (a new frontier for me at the time) and shape or geometry in music, in this case the circle or circular form. I drew inspiration from the many things circles can represent, like endless cycles, interconnectedness, and paradox. The music plays with repetition, both literal and altered, between the piano and the microtonally-tuned MIDI keyboard. Gestural repetitions trace evolving cycles of music that grow gradually as the piece develops. An added bit of fun: the piece can cycle seamlessly and can smoothly loop over and over
